Items needed:
-
Cardstock paper
-
white crayon or marker
-
Scissors
-
Clear contact paper
-
Hole-punch
-
Yarn
-
Large, plastic needle (optional), or tape

Draw 8 intersecting lines on the cardstock paper.

Draw connecting lines for your "web" starting in the center, and working your way to the edges.

Cut out spider web in a circle.

Cut out two pieces of clear contact paper - slightly larer than circle, and cover both sides. Contact paper should stick together at edges, around circle.

Cut circle out of contact paper - leaving a 1/2-inch edge of just contact paper.

Punch holes at intersections of lines and around edges. To punch holes in center, fold in half and punch half-holes.

Cut yarn (about two-arms length). Tie yarn to one hole along edge, and tie plastic needle to other end of yarn.

Let your child lace the yarn around the spider web - in any way they want. When done, remove "web" and start again, OR add more yarn and add to the web.
