Mission Statement

Inspiring creative self-expression, self-confidence and a sense of community while children and families learn to draw from real life.

Our Philosophy

Every student progresses at their own pace and every skill level is an important part of their artistic development. Students should not be discouraged or rushed through any stage of their artistic development.

Our classes are based on the theory that learning how to draw or paint is a combination of good hand-eye coordination paired with good observation skills. A working knowledge of how to use a chosen form of media is also important. Repeated exposure to the different forms of media (pastels, watercolor, charcoal, etc) along with an interest in their own artistic development will strengthen a student’s artistic skills and confidence. (Practice, Practice, Practice!) Drawing from real-life objects will help students improve their observations skills and encourage them to find their own artistic style.

Refund Policy

For Everyone else (Registering on this website, via Paypal):

Full refunds will be given to students who withdraw from a class at least 5 business days prior to the first day of class. However, for Paypal payments, refunds requested 60 days (or more) AFTER initial payment was made will have Paypal's fees deducted from the refund amount.
Withdrawals made less than 5 business days before the first class will receive a 50% refund.
No refunds will be issued after the first class.
Please contact us directly for a refund for the quickest return of your money. Opening a case via Paypal for a "chargeback" can cause you to wait up to 1-2 months for you to recieve you money back. Please contact us if you have questions.

Missed Classes

If a student misses a class due to illness or vacation, the student may make up the class during another class with instructor’s approval and if there is space available - during the same session.

Weather Policy

If a class is canceled due to inclement weather, a make-up class will be scheduled.

Camps that are canceled due to inclement weather will be refunded at 80% for each day canceled.
